Labels, product inserts, websites, MSDSs, manuals, promotional materials
Responding to the needs of clients doing international business, CRS, LLC offers a translation service focused exclusively on the cosmetic and personal care industry. This service is a natural extension of the regulatory guidance being provided. Of course, it's critically important to know exactly what needs to be translated and into what languages and where on the label regulations require them to be displayed.
The translators are all heavily experienced in cosmetic expression and all are native speakers.
This combination ensures that the labels remain faithful to the nuances of the original text and will avoid any expression, that while grammatically correct, might come across as awkward.
Their work is always done with the pertinent regulations in mind.
We know that the perfect expression can spark an interest and help establish a relationship with the consumer.
Our service includes capability in the languages of the EU, Quebec, Latin America and select countries in Asia.
Feel free to ask for a quote for service or provide answers to any questions.
Claims and Product Benefits
We all know that for most categories of Personal Care products and cosmetics, claims are our life blood.
We offer skilled experience in knowing how to walk the line between
drug and cosmetic claims and actually help write hard hitting copy. We
provide wordsmithing.
Many claims can be substantiated by a formula-based rationale while others require some type of data.
We know the labs, we know how they work, we know what needs to
be done, and we know what does not need to be done. We provide
expert guidance.
Towards a "Global" Label
An actual global label is really not possible for cosmetics, but a label can be created that will comply in a variety of markets, reducing the number of sku's required for a product.
Canadian labeling regulations / EU labeling / USA labeling regulations
Canada has the federal bilingual law and Quebec wants most, if not all, to be in French as well. These same labels can be used in the EU (European Union) with the addition of the PAO icon and fragrance labeling when needed, depending on warnings, etc. These same labels MAY be used in the USA as well.
